He's become a bit too far left-leaning in his bid to appease the immigrants he promised health, wealth and prosperity to which he hasn't been able to deliver on, but did all that at the expense of his commitment to the people who actually do provide the tax base from which his government feeds from.

I would never vote for a guy who doesn't dress like a guy I would invite to spend the night with me, nor one who has 'praying hands' in my face every time he opens his mouth, if you know what I mean.
@swirlie Far left? The guy is barely left of centre.

And I have bad news for you but Canada has been a country of immigrants since 1867.

Sorry but if the criteria is "be a WASP stereotype" and pander to the same the only thing you have left is the Wish.com version of Trump with the PPC.

Even the Tories get it.

And we have gotten better healthcare but that is almost entirely provincial so you are blaming the wrong person if you are not happy with that.

And Canada has done very well economically overeall.

The only real problem no party has a solution for is the housing situation. But that is mostly because nobody including the NDP wants to admit it cannot be solved by a market economy.

I think you've got your turban a little too tight on your head there, big guy!

Canada has been a country of immigrants since 1670 when British Colonialism showed up and tried to evict the First Nations People! 🤣

You're only about 200 years behind Canada's reality, so why don't you take some time out to revisit Canada's historical past at the public library before you try to spin your new story to me?
@swirlie Says the person whining about immigrants.

I picked 1867 because that is generally accepted as when Canada was a country and not a collection of colonies that didn't really have much to do with each other.
@swirlie ...and I have...different news.

As far as we know, the Americas are completely composed of immigrants. The "First Nations"/"First Peoples" were the ones who were found by explorers, but represent the winning elements of previous immigration, primarily via the land bridge between Asia and North America.

So there are several thousand years more!

@SomeMichGuy
Actually, there's over 10,000 years more. With global warming and the ice melting at a great rate, archeologists are now finding remnants of fully intact Native Tribesmen near the Arctic Circle whom directly relate our current day's First Nations People to that past era over 10,000 years ago.
@swirlie Yes, I know.

@SomeMichGuy
....so, you didn't have different news after all, but you assumed that I knew less than you did, just like you always do! And yes, I know you know that too!
@swirlie Well, why stop at 1670 if you knew we have at least 10 ka before present? Hit them with everything--blow minds completely! lol

I didn't know which way that would break with you; some people don't like that info.
@swirlie

...so, you didn't have different news after all

And yes, I did have different news than what you presented in the comment to which I replied, "after all".
