Trump spreading a debunked conspiracy theory of Haitians eating pets has put the population of Springfield, OH at risk. Particularly, the hard working Haitian Refugees who are there legally and much more likely to be a victim of crime than committing one.

@Piper Vance said something to the effect of "well sometimes we have to get the media's attention" So telling irrespoinsible lies is ok.

It someone gets hurt out of all this, I think people have a legal recourse to sue Trump and Vance for libel. Any reasonable person should know these lies will eventually hurt people either economically or physically.
