It is not macho shit. It is common sense. Even Muhamad Ali frowned on her daughter's taking after him in professional boxing. He said that a woman's body is not built for that kind of punishment. My objection is against the effeminate mindset. The US fights like a woman. We are never upfront and deal with threats like a man who would take you out if you offend him. We fight obliquely and even secretly using the CIA to incite violent insurrection and regime change instead of straight up war. To put it bluntly, we really have no balls. We fight proxy wars and gang up with partners and allies like a gaggle of women poking Russia here and there, and instigating China everywhere from Taiwan to Tiktok. Disgusting.
As for what the Chinese Navy is about. They know what the US has in store for them The US has been bragging about it since the Clinton years and they take the long view.
Their navy is being built specifically to counter this suicidal blockade strategy by the US.
It's a pity that we have forced the Chinese to divert their resources to military buildup just to deal with US aggression in East Asia. I hope China won't go overboard and be lured into a resource bleeding military program. China's ICBM's are unarmed and not fitted with nuclear warheads like ours and the Russians' all ready to go. Theirs number only 500 while ours are 5000 and Russia's 6000. China needs to stay on course with their Belt and Road program and grow their influence economically by modernizing poor nations around the world and uplift poverty the same way they did for its 1.4 billion people. I have started to learn Mandarin just to clean my head of immoral western muck.
