Why are school shootings more common per capita in southern red states?

This is a true fact. You can look it up.

Same reason blue northern cities have staggering murder numbers : it’s the people.

@AthrillatheHunt southern states have higher murder numbers, per capita.

@trollslayer 100 people get shot in Chicago alone on any given weekend . I doubt 100 people have ever been shot in the state of Alabama in the same day .
Would you feel safer in rural Mississippi or Baltimore ? Alabama or Detroit ? Texas or Chicago ?

@AthrillatheHunt do you understand “per capita”?

@trollslayer Clearly not…

@trollslayer do you understand many of those shot in southern red states are shot by accident ? Like a boy taking dad’s gun and showing off or hunting accidents . .
In Chicago they are trying to kill you. It’s no accident .

You are wrong on the facts:

Alabama's state murder rate is just under 40% higher than the murder rate of the entire STATE of Illinois.

@SomeMichGuy note to self : avoid Alabama at all costs .
@AthrillatheHunt Odd you chose the state only bested in murders by the states of LA (the worst), NM, and SC.
