I have a lot of respect for her. But I get that she’s going to face hatred from the racists and misogynists in this country, because those still are our primary "American Values".
And they will always come to the forefront in situations like this.
Her age isn’t an issue, so they’re attacking her race and gender. Some are even renewing "birther" charges, which means they learned nothing from leveling those racist accusations at Obama.
If Harris hadn’t been a legal citizen, she couldn’t have served as Vice President—which has that same requirement.
