Why isnt anyone talking about the fact that China dominates the graphite supply?

China has been dominating the supply of most graphite products, accounting for 60% of global natural flake supply, 99% of uncoated spherical graphite and over 90% of natural anode.

Graphite is not only used in lithium-ion batteries. It is also a key material in energy storage, pencils, sporting equipment and electronics, which includes smartphones and laptops. The graphite market is projected to hit $27 billion by 2025, with the demand for the material increasing in multiple industries.

Shouldn't Americans be concerned about this?

No because it's not like you can't source graphite from other locations. It's like being concerned that a nation is dominating the silicon trade.
