Lets say we had companies willing to build housing above their businesses and provide housing as benefit for lower wage..

McDonalds, BK, Walmart ect.
Even through government grants

1. Prices of goods drop
2. Housing market prices drop
3. Young adults start their independent lives and are out of your house sooner

If you want a higher paying job, get it.
