Whacky Conversation wheres the sanity!!??

Yup heard a good one today between my Husband and Sister in law.
She goes on and on about how shes afraid if Trump gets in office he will implement Project 2025.
All the pensions and benefits will GO AWAY FOR VETERANS!! The VA hospitals will be closed etc...
I don't know where she gets her information from but listening to this @$%# is a bit much..

IDK enough about Project 2025 to comment on it (yet) BUT....

I do know that Paul Ryan (when he held power as speaker of the house) made an attempt to kill off/monkey with Veterans benefits including retirement pay, medically retired pay and survivors benefits.

My view is that if congress wants to save money, they should clean their own house first. Saying that any former military did not "earn" their retirement/survivors compensation is just another slap in the face.

Simply put: "PAY ME THE PITTANCE THAT YOU PROMISED ME AND STOP TRYING TO CONSTANTLY ERODE IT...."
