China's development projects in Africa and Latin America are a form of softer imperialism, inducing those countries to build beneficial public works projects in exchange for permanent debt.

I get it, you're a tankie. Anything the US or its allies does is automatically wrong, while anything its enemies do is automatically good. Makes it much easier to understand international relations without having to actually think about them or god forbid learn any history.
