What does your race have to do with who you're voting for?

It's like saying, I'm a white woman going to the supermarket.... Who cares?

@FreeSpirit1 Race is a big part of this election. It has been the primary line of attack against VP Harris so far, including yesterday by the former President and previously by numerous members of Congress. Trump said Harris decided to be Black (as if that were a thing) implying that she did so for political advantage. So I think race and gender demographics are unusually important in this election.

@Harmonium1923 I watched that interview. He wasn’t insulting her. He was stating a fact. She went from Indian to black and yes, in understand biracial is a thing and no I’m not racist. I’m not defending Trump, just stating the context of the interview. He was at a black journalism conference so the main issue was race.

@Harmonium1923 And many times she only referred to her Indian side.

@SW-User The WSJ, not known for its liberal views, referred to his statements as “baseless”. In a news story, not an opinion column.

@Harmonium1923 I understand that. But other articles and videos shows her only talking about the Indian side.

I don’t think this election should be about race, sex, or age but on policy.

@FreeSpirit1 race has nothing to do with it, unless you’re MAGA; it’s the only way they can process the fact that a black woman is winning against a white man.
