Why would you collect Nazi memorabilia...

...if you weren't a Nazi?

I know someone who collects Nazi medals. It creeps me out. I understand the historical aspect of such things but Nazi artifacts are so covered in blood and death and negative energy.
When he showed me his collection all I could think was how many deaths were attributed to the guys who earned them.

Did you know that the USA took Nazi war criminals and used them all over the world? Hitler passed the baton to Washington. There's probably a market for that.
i know people who ARE BLACK and collect old darkie items

@SatyrService Fascinating, but why would anyone want to collect Nazi memorabilia?
@Wol62 i get your point that some might BE sympathetic. i am suspicious
but collections are often, not rational
For sure. You also really got to wonder about the ones that get pissed off when they find out what they are looking at are reproductions and not medals for war crimes.

@TheRascallyOne That is a fair point, but where would they display such things in their homes?

I collect Soviet memorabilia and am definitely not a communist.
It is a little hard to tell, but I think a swastika would look different, even if the picture of one was that blurry

I don't collect any Nazi memorabilia, but I am definitely into WWII. I do have a very real WWII Samurai sword.
