Sad that money is judged as success rather than policy decisions declared before the election.

@Picklebobble2 But isn't the case with anyone who runs for office? Contributions pay for campaign infrastructure. So the only success is that the DNC, and their message, is being supported.

And it's never clear whether that support comes at a price for the country or the people post election.
It's one thing for voters to put a few Dollars in a collection plate to 'help' with election expenses.
Another thing entirely if this money comes in the form of large donations from corporations or wealthy individuals on condition that the candidate supports or pushes for changes to laws or buys influence on certain committees once elected due to their acquired wealth pre election.
