Seems like a pretty hackneyed plot. Not to mention people died. Some illegal immigrant with a rubber knife would be more trump's style.

People have willingly died for cult-leaders before. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the guy who was killed consented to that because he believed it would help Trump's campaign.
