J.D. Vance Isn't Going to Help Trump. Will Hurt Him More Than Will Help Him.

Trump would have won Ohio anyway even if he picked MTG.

As far as the Blue Wall, no one in those states is going to get excited and say to themselves that they're going to vote for a Trump acolyte for V.P. who wasn't already going to vote for Trump anyway.

If anything, Vance will HURT Trump among crucial independents and help further galvanize Democrats to get out and vote.

I don't think it's going to make much of a difference either way. Most Americans aren't familiar with the Groypers, that don't know that Vance is much more extreme than Trump. And the people who do know this, they're already aware of how big a threat Trump is to Democracy. It really is like we just found out Himmler joined the Nazi Party. Himmler was much worse than Hitler, but like... it's Hitler. We were gonna vote against him anyway.
