J.D. Vance Isn't Going to Help Trump. Will Hurt Him More Than Will Help Him.

Trump would have won Ohio anyway even if he picked MTG.

As far as the Blue Wall, no one in those states is going to get excited and say to themselves that they're going to vote for a Trump acolyte for V.P. who wasn't already going to vote for Trump anyway.

If anything, Vance will HURT Trump among crucial independents and help further galvanize Democrats to get out and vote.

The election will come down to the Blue Wall. (Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania).

That gets to 268 with the safe states. Add the Omaha congressional district and it's a 269 tie (House would elect Trump).

Add in the Maine 2nd and it's a win at 270.

(If Biden wins the Wall and any of the following: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada or North Carolina, it 's a win).
