“Great” is both conceited and nowhere near as true as it was 50+ years ago.

“United” is a far superior option, but politically unlikely. Politicians need to create discourse to have their lies hold true to the lemmings.

A nation can be united despite political, religious, etc.. differences …

Unity in the context of democracy allows everyone to have different opinion, yet, accept the elected option of the majority ..

@Soossie That’s the way it was taught when I was growing up. But, when majority rules becomes minority (population) rules, it gets a lot more volatile. It’s what we’re in the middle of right now. The hard right have found a chink in the armor - people eventually get sick of the tail wagging the dog.

This is going to end just like his campaign initially with Hillary. The Dems are going to cause their own defeat because of their candidate’s public image.
