@Fentonisfree I would have voted Lib Dems too this year if I were British. Yes it's great they got 72 seats, considering the weird FPTP system.

@Fentonisfree Biggest fptp problem is that it will lead to tactical voting. There's no point in voting Lib Dem in a constituency where it's safe to assume they won't win the majority of votes.
And yes, proportional representation is not without problems. Just a different kind of problems.

Tactical voting was done to try and get them into second place,
Some conservatives only won their seat by a dozen votes. It was very close.
