Wake up Americans

I am afraid for the future of the USA. People are arguing and even physically fighting with each other about the 2 idiots that the 2 evil political parties have running for president. Open your eyes, my fellow country members. People from other nations have no problem seeing that neither of the candidates is qualified for the office of President, It has never been so clear. Wake Up! Wake up Americans before it is too late! Check out the 3rd party candidates, I will not say I know much about all the others running but I know most if not all would be better for the United States than what the Democrats or Republicans are offering us. The Libertarians, in my opinion, are the only option. It is so hard for me to believe that people are that blind and can't see something that is so obvious. Neither Trump nor Biden are fit to lead a small town.

Are any of these 3rd party candidates going to be taken votes away from the MAGA candidates?

There is evidence this is going to happen.

Therefore a vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for the MAGA candidate.

And no, none of the 3rd party candidates offer a better future for the USA.

@Northwest I’m not saying there aren’t good third party candidates out there, but at this stage of the game, any vote for a third party candidate is really more of a protest vote. There is too much at stake this time around . GW Bush won by less than 1,500 votes in 2000. Every vote is critical, probdbly moreso now in this election than ever. Neither are great candidates, but they are not equal. Trump needs to be stopped at all costs.

@RockerDad So, then you think any of the 3rd party candidates can do the following:

- Vet, select and confirm a Cabinet

- Vet, select and confirm all Federal judicial appointments.

- Vet, select and confirm all Foreign service appointments.

But even the first step, which is having an election machine behind them that can start executing on the 20th of January 2025, 12:01PM.

@nautybynature neither are great, but to say that they’re equal, is foolish. Trump has more in common with Mussolini than he does Biden. It’s so much bigger than the usual things that we have gone back and forth on for years. The soul of the country is at stake now. You either believe in what this country has always stood for (even if we don’t always achieve it), or you don’t. If you just want to shake the snow globe, and see where everything settles, vote for Trump. If you believe in democracy and the rule of law, vote for Biden. It’s that simple.

@Northwest @Northwest Yes I do. They have once elected the 3rd party POTUS will have access to the federal workforces of all the federal bureaus, agencies, etc. that help vet, provide information, and do research that a 2 party President-elect would have and use

@nautybynature I would have to politely disagree with you on that ih the strongest terms possible. If voting for Biden means that I’m helping to prevent Trump from winning, I will vote for Biden whole heartedly. I don’t think he’s the best democrat we have to offer, but I will take what I can get, if it means defeating Trump.

@RockerDad I agree that our democracy is at risk of ending and that it is at a critical point. We have not arrived at this action-demanding time just because Trump is running for President. No democracy has been losing a little here and there for at least 30 years now. Americas have been like the frog that you throw in the pot of water and put on the stove. We as Americans didn't notice the loss of freedoms or the slow loss of powers of the people taken by the Government. We are going to continue this way as does the frog until it is gone. Our great democracy gone, and our liberties, and freedoms all gone because we acted too late or not at all.

@nautybynature there is a difference between putting a frog in a pot, and putting it in a microwave, and setting it on high. If Trump is allowed back in office, I don’t think there will be a democracy left to improve on, at least in my lifetime.
