How is displaying the Ten Commandments somehow against the Constitution?
Here is the First Amendment.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Let's see. CONGRESS did not mandate that Louisiana schools display the Ten Commandments in classrooms.
CONGRESS did not prohibit Louisiana from the free exercise of displaying those Commandments.
What religion did this establish? Judaism? Christianity?
You need to learn to read.

@Reason10 No, YOU need to learn how to read, MAKE NO LAW respecting a religion is the anti establishment clause, meaning they CANNOT endorse ANY religious tennent, the JudeoChristian ten commamdments EXCLUDES Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Zoroastrinism, Satanism, etc. They are a first amendment violation by putting them up in government based institutions, that constitutes an official endorsement.

You apparently haven't read the First Amendment. The phrase "ANY religious tenet" does not appear in that amendment. You can't just reword something when you lose the argument.
Putting the Ten Commandments in classroom does NOT violate ANY religious freedom laws whatsoever.
Then again, you far lefters don't seem to have a problem with MUSLIM religious indoctrination in public schools.

Can you imagine the outrage if students were given the scripture from the Old or New Testaments and told they have to give the meaning, interpret that scripture, and explain how Christians and Jews use that scripture in their everyday life? Christianity is disallowed but why is Islam, a religion, allowed to be taught?

Muslim “culturally relevant pedagogy” is teaching the religion of Islam. Because Muslim “culture” is Islam, the two are inseparable.

To bring that uneducated brain of yours up to speed, a lot of public schools in blue and red states study Christianity, Calvinism, Taoism and Transcendentalism as a form of LITERATURE. I took such a class when I was in high school in North Carolina, back in the early Seventies. At NO time was I tempted to kneel down and pray in class.

@Reason10 That's funny, I took bible as literature as my English elective my senior year of high school, the first day was like a worship service, I was the ONLY Atheist that signed up, I never went again after that, transferring to photojournalism.

@NativePortlander1970 They had that in the public schools I attended after I left that Catholic school. As you did, we studied religion as a form of literature.
@Reason10 That class my senior year was a church within school as a disguise, it was discovered the teacher was a youth group leader within her own sunday congregation.
