Louisiana passes law that all schools and universities must display the Ten Commandments

because they are
the foundational documents of our state and national government".

So much for the Constitution. Let’s now also ignore the 2nd amendment and do something about banning firearms!

Unless this happens first

But the first commandment stands in opposition to the first amendment.

Exodus 20:3 is not the First Commandment.

The real First Commandment is Exodus 34:11-16.

I never claimed it was.

That's still in opposition to the first amendment. The right to worship at an Asherah pole is actually protected.

America is not a religious based country, and The Constitution is not a Religious based document.

@calicuz I know, that's my point. I'm not the one calling the ten commandments
the foundational documents of our state and national government".

Yes, sorry, I got lost in the translation of the conversation. My bad.

You really should learn American history. Almost every law in America is based upon religion. Why do you think it was a slave country and had over a century of rigid segregation?

Every country that has invaded another country has sought to replace the native culture with its own. So, all countries follow the real First Commandment, which is to destroy the indigenous peoples' culture.

do you think that's a good thing?

No,it isn't a good thing. The Spanish destroyed the Incas, Mayans, and Aztecs and the Philippines. Americans and Canadians destroyed the indigenous Indians. The French destroyed the Vietnamese. And there are countless other examples. But they got their ideas from the stories in the Bible, which made them special.

Remember the main idea in the Bible =

2 Esdras 6:53-59 (CEB) “On the sixth day you commanded the earth that it create before you cattle, beasts, and reptiles, 54 and over these you set Adam, the leader over all the things you had made. From him we all, the people you have chosen, have been brought forth.

55 “I have said all these things before you, Lord, because you have said that you created the oldest age[l] for our sake. 56 You have said that the other nations born of Adam are nothing, that they are like spit, and you have compared their abundance to a drop from a pitcher. 57 But look now, Lord! These nations that are valued as nothing rule over us and devour us, 58 while we, your people, whom you have called your oldest offspring, your one and only child, those who are zealous for you, your dearest ones, are handed over to them. 59 If the world was created for our sake, why don’t we possess our world as an inheritance? How long will this situation last?”

If a person believes in the Bible, then that person believes in that and is a Jew by religion and works to take over the world. Remember, the world was created for their sake and for no one else's.

@Dolimyte If the school was mandating that everyone had to SALUTE the First Commandment, you might have a point. All Louisiana did was give the schools the FREEDOM to post that document.
