The 'Dirty tricks' campaigners in the forthcoming UK election are out in force

Just got in from work and there's a campaign leaflet on the mat.

It features something of a rant from what you assume to be 'a prospective candidate' letting you know just what is wrong with the country and how this 'candidate will challenge it and 'make good'.

It features two small photos of (presumably) this candidate with groups of 'Nurses and Doctors', the other photo is with 'elderly folk'. Both about the size of a postage stamp.

On further research you discover this is actually the sitting Conservative MP.

Yet nowhere in this leaflet are the words Conservative; Conservative central office; Prime Minister......

It's obviously a cynical attempt to get folk to associate a name with 'his ideals'

Be warned folks. They're out there trying to steal your vote.

Aren't the Tories now getting Boris Johnson to write a letter to constituents to urge them to vote Conservative instead of Reform? Considering you can plot a direct path from the election of arch populist Johnson, through to the rise of Reform, that's like Frankenstein warning the public about the monster he helped to create.
