A couple of days ago someone else posted a NY Post headline saying these guys lied.
If I remember, they said something like "it has the earmarks of Russian propaganda," but we can't tell for certain if it is.
I don't see how this is actually lying because it was Hunter's laptop, or, of course, how giving their opinion, even if it was politically motivated would make them traitors.
I found, the post, and my comment on it (below) which I'll pretty much stand by. I don't see where these guys lied, nor do I see any treason involved in what they said.
I do see the possible political motive of course, and I'm not disputing that the press took it, ran with it, and distorted it.
Also, I really do get the frustration over the media, but the hyperbole about liberal conspiracies to get Trump is exhausting. Trump himself is a creature of the media, the tabloids way back, the MSM until it "turned on him," and to this day, Fox, NewsMax, and the New York Post, which ran a headline not backed up by the text of the article which followed it.
This smells like politics to me, and Trump suspicion, not treason. Trump never has been King, and even if he was, discrediting a story about a would be usurper's son seems to be stretching things quite a bit.

I'm not saying it wasn't ammunition for the Press to run with, but I don't see a lie, or a reason to apologize for the letter.
Where it went after that is another story, of course, and sure, they did "discredit" the Post's story, but what they basically said is, it looks like horse shit and here's why. They didn't say it was horse shit, even.

That ☝️ was the comment from Brennan. Now...you're an attorney....so, the next question one would ask is, what evidence suggests this was Russian propaganda? Oh right...no one dared to ask. And none was ever provided. And that's because they didn't have any. Suggesting it has the earmarks of propaganda, when it doesn't, is lying. And now we KNOW the contents of the laptop are real and not propaganda - the only conclusion that can be drawn is they were lying.
And they lied to help Biden get elected. It's obvious.
No wonder these 51 are worried about Trump taking back the oval office.

That last one sounds like a valid media criticism, but I don't see the dots connected to actually disqualify "expert opinion" even based on nebulous experience.
Calling people liars and traitors, throwing out outrageous accusations, and even "lies" can be persuasive, but, at least, I'm my opinion, when someone does it all the time, I tend to question their credibility, like Peter and the Wolf.
