The Biden administration released some oil, from the SPR, in 2022 in an attempt to reduce prices at the pump, when inflation was rising.
This was sold to US companies. It's possible some of it made it to China on the black market.
Nevertheless, the US has been producing oil at peak capacity and the reserve was replenished in no time, and has been at maximum capacity.
BTW, we are an oil exporter, bigly! And our companies are slaves to the $ and will sell to anyone who will pay.
I thought you MAGAs want an open market system, and get iff to capitalism.
