@Torsten Thats actually quite correct. Hitler was a master orator and political strategist. He even wrote his own book..But as a military tactician he was a flop. And in a war that counts..Just to compare and contrast, Abe Lincoln was also a gifted political leader in his own way. But when faced with Generals who couldnt lead, he was not tempted to take the reins himself, trying new people until he found the likes of Sherman and Grant...😷

@whowasthatmaskedman and later becoming president and doing a far better job at it than any politician while having everyone against him in a modern day witch hunt.. And despite of that, there is a good chance he will once again be president and fix everything Biden has ruined

Hitler wasn't that competent as a leader and only got to the top of the NAZI party because of his skill as an orator. Once there, he had the luck or good judgement to appoint people who were excellent administrators.

He was not a great military strategist. He was lucky in the battle of France that an inspired (but high risk) plan from a junior general paid off. He took stupid risks though, especially later in the war. The allies decided not to assassinate him for that reason.

True. And if Project 2025 goes through, Trump probably won't be able to get anything done, since all he does is cause chaos in the GOP. However, at some point he'll have to step down, and if his replacement is competent like Hitler, we could easily end up with a very similar situation to 20th century Fascism.

@Torsten As I said, I understand how the economy of the third Reich progressed. And frankly, you clearly dont. Without stealing resources and lands from other nations and the place would have trashed itself quickly..And without curtailing personal freedoms and the free marke and placing the economy on a wartime footing inflation and unemployment would have trashed the nation.. But I am sure Americans will be fine being told where and when to work and how much they can earn...😷

@Torsten You're saying Trump is more competent than Hitler? Trump couldn't even stay in power past the end of his term. The only legislation he's responsible for is a tax cut for millionaires. And he completely bungled the response to COVID.

Kinda unnecessary, considering how much far-right media there is that just repeats anything Trump says. Though if Project 2025 goes through, I'm sure there will be an official minister of propaganda.
