Maybe it's because he only called a Brexit referendum to stop Tories defecting to UKIP. I imagine he still wakes up in a cold sweat following that catastrophic decision.

@Richard65 Yes, he is well meaning, but not terribly shrewd. Blair did not get us in the same position, where there was a possibility that he might lose.

@SW-User I realise this is about Natalie Elphicke, but Labour has made a huge mistake in accepting her into their ranks. It's blindingly obvious she's a gigantic fake, a career politician who will do and say anything to maintain her position. This is a major error of judgement by Starmer.
