Religion is the cause of war: Christianity

Jesus is a story created by Jews for Christianity, a religion fathered by Judaism.

The Buddha is a story created for Buddhism, a religion fathered by Hinduism.

While Christianity gave birth to the material world of science for the west, Buddhism asserted the non-material nature of existence for the east.

WW1and WW2 erupted in the west. The rumblings of WW3 is heard now; yet again in the west.

How does religion cause war which is human conflict incited by fear and driven by rage?

Define "sin".

@jackieash What has sin got to do with the OP?
@sree251 It was a response to another person. It's a question I ask religious types. But to act as devil's advocate (unfortunate choice of phrase I know), it is somewhat sinful for an army of people to wrap themselves in a holy book while attacking those who follow another holy book, or in some cases, no holy book at all.

You sound smart enough to look deeper into my OP. I don't believe that WW1 and WW2 were caused by holy books. Warring parties were all Christians.
@sree251 Warring parties in WW2 were not all Christians. Japan?

Great point. Japan was a different matter altogether. It needed natural resources and were at war with and invading China at the time. I suppose the east is as bad as the west. Japan industrialized in 1870 and absorbed western cultural poison. A Japanese guy I met in Tokyo told me that without assimilating western philosophy, Japan would not have been able to develop western technology.
