Will Quad Indicted be eligible to legally vote in FL when he is convicted in Manhattan?

This is an interesting question that will depend upon the interplay of NY and FL laws. There is no clear answer for the present, but Quad Indicted’s legal right to vote may very well be determined by the interpretation of moral turpitude in each state.

moral turpitude
noun
moral tur·pi·tude -ˈtər-pə-ˌtüd, -ˌtyüd
1
: an act or behavior that gravely violates the sentiment or accepted standard of the community

a crime involving moral turpitude
compare MALUM IN SE
NOTE: Whether a criminal offense involves moral turpitude is an important determination in deportation, disbarment, and other disciplinary hearings. Past crimes involving moral turpitude usually may also be introduced as evidence to impeach testimony. Crimes such as theft, perjury, and vice crimes

@whowasthatmaskedman Honestly, I would have to research Florida’s laws to give you an answer. That’s tricky because there are lots of “gotchaes” that he might fall into, but I will do my best to research it and give you an answer. I suspect that he and Death Sentence would get into the ultimate pissing match where Death Sentence would have a clear advantage.
