Does this make any sense?
The House on Saturday passed a $95 billion package that includes two long-awaited bills with $60.8 billion of Ukraine aid.
From what I've read, the US is not giving Ukraine cash money, but rather selling them weaponry.
Even if you gave them the money to buy weapons, if they buy those weapons from the US, that's like giving them free weapons that we US taxpayers are paying the bill for.
So the US gives Ukraine aid, Ukraine then uses the aid to buy weapons from us, and of course this puts all our weapon factories in the black, which of course boosts the employment numbers and which of course all our politicians own stock in the weapons manufacturing companies.
And with all of this happening, the US taxpayer still gets stuck paying the bill for it all.
