Sounds like they were given before the current controllers of Iran took over.
So sometimes between 1976 and 1979 (I think), I think it's saying it happened in 1976, but maybe that's just when the agreement was.

Despite secretly facilitating the sales of weapons to Iran to help fund the Contras, how could you have been "almost certain" the Reagan Adminstration would have sold fighter aircraft advanced as the F-14 Tomcat to Iran after the hostage crisis? 🤔
@beckyromero where did they get them. We cut of supply them before the tomcat was available. It's bad enough they have F4s. You may be right, I just don't know how they got them. F 14s. Had some issues though.
@beckyromero been a long time. I didn't remember that. Remember though I never said you were wrong. However the F 14 wasn't the best fighter we ever made. There are issues with the swing wing from what I have heard. The most modern plane I hung bombs on was the F 111.
Which Admin sold Bell Helicopters to Iraq? The Bell Helicopters that delivered posion gas that Killed Kurds. Which admin helped start Irans Nuclear Program?
