That is why you still remove them, if you do get arrested demand a jury trial, none would convict you, then you'd set a court precedent for future squatter removals in your state. Source: My older stepsister who's a retired county prosecutor, she has told me in the past that is how even one person can get bad law removed from the books.

@NativePortlander1970 lawyers and courts are expensive for example a few years back i got a parking ticket now i wasn't going to fight it or anything the ticket was 35$ the "court fees" just to pay the tickets were 160$ + 35$ admission fee 35 for the violation.
