So you admit it is a dangerous world. There are people on the other side of this dangerous world with species ending weapons who want to kill us all. So the only choice we have is to (a) let them come and get it over with or (b) become such a powerful military presence that they won't dare even look at us wrong.
Yes, most of us abhor violence. That's why I admire our military so much. They put themselves in harm's way to protect our lifes, our freedom and our liberty.

@Reason10 no, the USA is responsible for three fourths of global military spending. The USA is dangerous. Nobody can dream of escape. You can kill us all three times and own all the dead.
