Sooner Rather Than Later, Israel Needs to Develop a Small Fleet of Ballistic Missile Subs to Be Its Survivable Nuclear Deterrent.

Given their location as well as a lack of a serious Navy of any type to protect any submarines, I don't believe that is a priority.

I don't see them even having a aircraft carrier. Because of location. Those are shallow seas. Submarines are deep water craft. They rarely raise to the surface, so they can remain hidden. They would need protection first.

@beckyromero cheeper for us to use our own submarines! Cheaper for Israel as well. 🤷🏻‍♂️

And there's still nothing to stop better supplies to Yemen either. They are currently supplying cheap stuff. Because of the economics of war.

Are they going to be stop fighting any time soon? NO!

If you can't flank left, you flank elsewhere! And it doesn't have to be right either.

@DeWayfarer exactly. Israel owns the sky , not the water. Desert people don’t do well in water . Lol
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@AthrillatheHunt are any of them really desert people now from any side?

BTW I am a desert person. That happens to swim very well. Better under water than above water.
Plans for more war?
Typical.

@Roundandroundwego

Survivable deterence.

We have it. The Russians have it. So do the Brits. As well as the French. The Chinese have a limited such capability, but will rapidily expand it.

But you're only angry at the suggestion that Israel should have it?

Why is that? 🤔
@beckyromero sounds like it's everywhere and normal. Israel can forget laws about nukes it'd be unfair to single them out.
We didn't expect peace or survival with you on our globe.

Israel controls the skies. It has no want to control the water.

Or it could stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing

@Burnley123
To the point where you even want to purge the left from national politics and leave it as a game between hawkish centrists and the far right. It's happening in the UK labour party right now.

It's not something I'm down with. Also, if trump wins me because young leftists won't suck up the Biden lesser-evilism, I bet you will blame them.
Purge? No. Elections? Yes.

There are plenty of politicians in Congress and state legislatures, both on the far left and the MAGA right, who would more likely lose than win if the voters who turn out in general elections would turn out in their party primaries.

Gerrymandering and the power of activists in primaries in Congressional districts and in even smaller state legislative districts give rise to the Omar's and Greene's.

Why would you say that? I don't blame Bush's win in 2000 on the people who voted for Ralph Nader in Florida.

Nor do I blame the people who voted for Jill Stein for causing Hillary's defeat.

Those people knew what they were doing. And they didn't care. I don't count them as "supporters."

They decided they would not use their vote to maximum effect to deny George Bush the presidency. They decided they would not use their vote to maximum effect to deny Donald Trump the presidency.

You sound a bit paranoid Ms Romero @beckyromero
