@fanuc2013 Actually the Iranian strike was hugely successful. Israel wasted $1.3 BILLION shooting down drones that were always meant to be shot down thus depleting the aerial defence that was needed for the ballistic missiles all of which not only got through but also struck their targets. What is more now Iran knows where all the Israeli defence stations are so they are now vulnerable to attack with ballistic or hypersonic missiles which Israel can not stop. Major win for Iran.

What they have shown is that the psychological barrier has been broken. Breaking thru the Iron Dome is a lot easier. The biggest deterrent is fear. Iran has demonstrated that it is not afraid to strike an enemy believed to be formidable. The US has to watch it also.

@helenS if Islamist weapons are indeed harmless, why did the wise American Bush ruin the entire nation if Iraq searching for the non existent WMD? Of course Iraqi lives don’t count since they are from the middle east and not isreal or Europe. 😃
