Are there any Americans supporting the canceling of student debt who are NOT getting anything out of it?

Isn't this a forced transfer of wealth? How is it fair? The Supreme Court stopped it and Biden is finding ways around their ruling - what would the media be saying if Trump defied the court like that?

ANY and ALL taxes you pay are a forced transfer of wealth.. Taxes are the PRICE the individual pays to live in a civilized society.. and news flash they are nothing new. If the tax structure in the USA was appropriate (it is far from it) then higher education would be one of the things that would be mostly and properly funded.. What Biden is doing is to partially correct the failure to do so.. Your infrastructure is crumbling and that is because the tax structure is not appropriate.. Next news flash is that GOVERNMENT has legitimate purposes to serve the collective good of the people of the nation and it REQUIRES appropriate funding to achieve those purposes.. What is not fair is that there are over 1000 billionaires in America who control more than half of the wealth in America and pay very low taxes.. You need to get your head around THAT before you open your mouth about what is fair or that this is a forced transfer of wealth..

You know how many billionaires there are in Canada? Probably under twenty of them.. You want to know why? Canada has a tax structure that provides for higher education and full health care for ALL of its citizens.. I has a social safety net that until recently actually worked..

Here's the problem with those statements, one at a time:

Nope. Transfer of wealth is called WELFARE and it is where wealth is transferred from a producer to someone who produces NOTHING.

That is wrong, (once again convincing me that you blue staters are the dumbest people in America.) Taxes are supposed to pay for the LEGITIMATE FUNCTIONS OF GOVERNMENT. That would include the court system, the police, the military, roads, bridges, leadership in Congress, Executive branch, judicial branch, as well as state government.
Right now those items are known as DISCRETIONARY SPENDING and take up less than 25 percent of the federal budge.

I agree the tax structure in the USA is inappropriate. There should be NO income tax whatsoever. And the legitimate costs of government were met just fine, (including the WARS the Democrats got us in) were paid long before the 16th Amendment.

Government paying for higher education IS THE REASON WHY COLLEGES ARE SO EXPENSIVE.

You can't blame taxpayers, PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR A LIVING for colleges deciding to PRICE GOUGE since they started getting checks from Uncle Sugar.

If we were to ditch (a) the INCOME TAX and (b) the WELFARE STATE, this country would be better off and its debts would be paid.

All it's doing now is adding to the pile of debt and it is making our money worth less and less.
