Are there any Americans supporting the canceling of student debt who are NOT getting anything out of it?

Isn't this a forced transfer of wealth? How is it fair? The Supreme Court stopped it and Biden is finding ways around their ruling - what would the media be saying if Trump defied the court like that?

I’m in favor of canceling student debt and I already paid off my loans. Plenty of people in favor of it who value a competent, well educated populace who can provide for themselves. By contrast the MAGA cult must want graduates mooching off the government teat for years and years.

@Theyitis oh geez seriously what's next? I gotta pay for some ahole who took a home loan or car loan out? Oh novel idea don't borrow money if you can't pay it back for anything no one is entitled. What about people that didn't even go to school is it fair since you liberal types like "fair" is it fair that they pay back some college professors huge loan back and he probably unfortunately makes four times as much as they do? I say that because most professors have never even left the university and had a real job/career.

@Superwoman1 How is being a college professor not a “real job”? You don’t think we need people to help mentor and educate college students?

@AmericanAvenger College didn’t cost near as much when you went. For any but the wealthiest students to go to college today they must take on massive amounts of debt.

@Theyitis What I said was they never leave campus usually and get hired from some school they just graduated from hence having no actual experience.. also the reason why school is so expensive is not because it's gotten better or they teach more. No they raise the tuition etc to cover the expenses of both retirees that they promised way too much plus paying the extremely bloated staff etc salaries and pensions. It's always under the guise of oh we care about our students s etc blah blah but no you don't you care about getting a easy check in a protected salary position. You could cut the fat alot just by putting both the students and the school on the hook not giving 250,000 bucks or whatever to some dumbass 18 year old going to get a degree in underwater bookkeeping or gender studies . Also parents should be responsible and say no that is not what you are going to school for okay so you want to study Russian folk dancing I e liberal arts degree okay well what kinda job/career are you going to do with that?

@Theyitis So work on the cost of college - not taking money from Americans who never even went to college to give to others who will get "college jobs" and make 6 figures.

@Superwoman1 Your story is what young people in this generation was missing. This is why they are weak and lazy compared to our generation. Old Joe is perpetuating that while buying votes. It is bad for America and it is unconstitutional.
