Liberals are for free markets and conservatives are too, but what would "leftists" be for?

The obscene of course! A partly regulated market.

Problem comes in when you totally regulate the markets.

China is a very good example of a totally leftist economy. They own everything in some way. Therefore they control everything.

It's not just communism that is leftist. Dictatorships can be leftist as well. And that's the error of many that are for communism. There is no such thing as Communism. There's only dictatorships of a fully control market.

China is not liberal! They control the social values! There's no such social value as being gay. No such thing as having a big family even. It's a controlled social environment. And while they are for abortion, that's only because of their over population. They not only control abortion, they encourage abortion for any given reason. You actually have to pay to have more than two kids no matter your age or condition. A true liberal this wouldn't be a issue either way.

Socialism is even more leftist than partly controlled markets. France is a example there. I personally believe they went to far left on the market issues. Yet France is both liberal and leftist. Nudity isn't illegal everywhere. Gay marriage is accepted. Women's rights are accepted on most things like abortion. Yet businesses are heavily controlled through taxes on the businesses. Exports and imports are as well taxed or pay duty. So they are leftist on market issues. The market is mostly controlled. Yet businesses are not owned by the government outright.

You can be liberal in values and still be a capitalist. Say a non religious gay billionaire that's the head of multi national corporation possibly. Or even a polygamist billionaire. Or even more perverse ... Epstein would be a example. Some have doubts that he killed himself. The reason is clear as day. He could never fit into either liberal or conservative life styles. Despite being a capitalist.

Liberals are liberal in their social values. Hence the fight over abortion rights is not really a market issue, even if capitalists have perverted drug industry.

There's many ways to fight social issues. The drug industry is one way to fight it, just by only a few having access to the drugs. Like only millionaires.

So you have liberals that are against certain free markets that apply to social issues. Closer to what I initially referred to.

My view on leftism is government should control some things through corporate taxes. Not so much say on businesses. We are a multi national economy. And corporations insist as being treated as individuals. So they must pay as individuals that make the same amounts!

Personally I believe it is wrong to treat corporations as individuals. That is like giving them more than one vote in government. Yet if we must treat them as individuals then they must pay equal taxes according to their wealth! The tax breaks and loopholes are insanity. Put a flat tax over a hundred million in profits just for corporations! Businesses just don't make that much, yet they as well don't lobby!

Taxation without representation is one thing, yet lobbyists representation without taxation is a totally different animal. What the corporations are doing is getting a free vote lunch through capitalizing on no taxes.

It's like giving a vote to a foreign national without taxing them. To make it worse, a foreign national corporation actually does have a right to lobby. Basically giving foreign governments a vote for each corporation they send as corporate lobbyists.

Yes they finally have to disclose that they are a foreign corporation... finally after half a century! They still get to lobby and therefore getting influence over our government.

Tax the corporations at least if they want to lobby Congress, foreign or not!

The opposite of what the Extreme Right would do!

Leftist use liberal ideals to divide America and install themselves as a government within a government.
