Conservatism is on the rise in America.

Those who identify as conservative both socially and economically are at their highest rates since 2012.

Why do you think that is?

The world's in an economic mess and it's election year.

Consequently everything is the incumbent's 'fault'.
Opposition parties and individual characters get to scream and shout their personal grievances.

Disenfranchised folk gravitate toward those who shout the loudest.

Loudmouthed agenderists come to the fore thus the Republican party (desperate for power) can't ignore them.

Agenderist gets elected with mandate in both houses.

Their own economists; B o.A; and other fiscal institutions tell them there is no money and the cost of borrowing game begins !

Only question is which country do you see buying American debt ?

All of them. What's their other choice?

I am liquid and most of my cash is in short term US Treasuries paying more than 5%. It is the best bet out there. I will go down with ship.

@Vin53 And this is where you get into trouble.

America has spent the last five years telling folk at home that it's all China's fault !
Cheaper production; Cheaper wages; Cheaper costs; flood the market with lesser quality but good value junk.

America panics at the success of Teemu; Tik-Tok etc. Decides to try and ban legitimate foreign business because it challenges American corporations domination at home....having already accepted huge 'contributions' to their respective parties to specifically ensure employment laws and workers right are diminished beyond use to help make them the world's biggest corporations.....

And poor old 'Joe Blow' is working harder than ever for less and less and then we watch the nations physical and mental health rapidly decline.....which again suits the institutions because it depletes quality healthcare; shrinks pensions and benefits and even if you live long enough to see a pension chances are you won't be claiming it for long before you die.

@sree251 ...says someone currently in their 40's and stoic to the last.....give it ten years.
When your body starts to fail you and you're battling your insurance company you've paid into for years.
See if you feel the same then.

Don't get me wrong.
I'm not specifically anti-Republican.
I'm not specifically anti-Donald Trump.
But when I read the same old same old from the same old same old and nothing new or remotely enlightening in terms of fiscal planning or debt tackling......

@Vin53 as you age your organs can't cope with the salt or sugar or processed food as effectively as it did when you were younger.
Thus you get diabetes or heart disease or any number of neurological problems start.

@Picklebobble2 ahhh...so you're overweight due to a stagnant life style.

@Vin53 proving to be very little to do with weight.
It's the lifestyle.
Working 14 hour days - stress.
Trying to get to required client numbers per day - physical and mental stress.
Unable to stop and eat regularly - low energy.
Exhaustion
