Jan6 suckers

Imagine being imprisoned 22 years for the day you decided to defend a politicians honor for losing an election in an election he lost overwhelmingly? How much of a waste of your life are you going to be asking yourself 20 years from now?

@Cheekyshorts It's interesting to note that the sources of many of these video clips were made by the Jan 6 insurrectionists themselves, who streamed videos and photos to social media. That collection of imagery made it much much easier for law enforcement to gather proof of crimes.

@ElwoodBlues Public protest American style is protected by the First Amendment. We are not in China where tanks could roll over you.

@sree251 Over 10,000 protesters were arrested in the aftermath of the George Floyd murder. Americans know the difference between violence and peaceful protest no matter how hard you try to blur the lines.

@ElwoodBlues George Floyd was not murdered. He died in the course of resisting police arrest.

There was a big crowd on Jan 6. People were upset with the way the elections were conducted. It was also a time when Covid response had an adverse impact on the American people. This is not going to go away.
