Imagine being imprisoned 22 years for the day you decided to defend a politicians honor for losing an election in an election he lost overwhelmingly? How much of a waste of your life are you going to be asking yourself 20 years from now?

I really believe you are looking at this all wrong..Forget the people in prison for the 22 years. Its their choice to make. Instead, consider the benefit to the sensible sane portion of the community from not having these people (and I use the word in its broadest term to give them the benefit of the doubt) out among us, spewing their hate, stupidity and being given the opportunity to express "opinions" that have not basis in thought or fact. The community as a whole will benefit from being deprived of their influence, and their presence, which is a bad example to the young and the easily swayed. And lets not start on the idea of them not having the chance to breed or to raise young..I agree that compulsory sterilization, while sensible on the face of it, is a step too far. But steps do need to be taken to remove these morons from the community if only to raise the average..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman because you disagree with what someone else thinks? So you are the authority on what "opinions that have not basis in thought or fact"? And want to take that "opportunity to express" away? Hhmmmm, just like Twitter, Facebook, Google and many others did prior to the 2020 election. If you wonder why people get upset and frustrated, it's this exact attitude. Guaranteed that there are just as many who believe that your "thoughts of facts" have no basis either. So perhaps you shouldn't be allowed to share Your opinion, without the risk of being imprisoned and persecuted too. And "remove these morons from the community " is as Nazi a statement as I've seen on here. Many on Jan 6 were expressing their opinions, but never were telling you that you couldn't express yours.

Since all you do is say I am wrong ans the opposite is true, with no argument, facts or supporting evidence doesnt really work for me.. But it is the first chapter of the Trump remediasl playbook, so well done on your reading. You wont mind if I dont take you seriously..😷

@Cheekyshorts I am an equal opportunity operator.I have no left or right politics. Only an economic rationalist approach. For the uninitiated, that means only do what you can afford to pay for and adopt a long term approach. And that hasnt been the US approach for decades.But putting that aside, any approach to government that wastes resources infighting, stalling or negating the efforts of that duly elected government are bad..The money used to defend against, clean up after and prosecute and jail those charged over it could have fed the poor, built and staffed hospitals and schools or if you are a republican put down a deposit on another Supercarrier. God knows neither side would use it to pay back some of the overseas debt or fix Social Security..😷
