Bus plunges off a bridge in South Africa, killing 45 people. An 8-year-old is only survivor
"Authorities say a bus carrying worshippers headed to an Easter festival plunged off a bridge on a mountain pass and burst into flames in South Africa, killing at least 45 people

March 28, 2024,

The South African government often warns of the danger of road accidents during the Easter holidays, which is a particularly busy and dangerous time for road travel. More than 200 people died in road crashes during the Easter weekend last year.

The Zionist Christian Church has its headquarters in Moria and its Easter pilgrimage attracts hundreds of thousands of people from across South Africa and neighboring countries. This year is the first time the Easter pilgrimage to Moria is set to go ahead since the COVID-19 pandemic."

The bus accident could be chalked-up to a routine event that happens, especially in Third-World countries with poor roads.

I'm thinking about more spectacular incidents, like airport attacks, big cargo ships sinkings, dams exploding, buildings collapsing, major forest fires in new areas, some assassinations, uprisings in other countries like the one in Haiti, etc.

The Ezhou bridge was in December, 2021.

Last year it was fires. This year it seems to be bridges and putting Boeing and United Airlines out of business.

Well, we are at war so the attacks will continue but most people will see them as accidents, instead of as focused attacks.

[c=BF0000]4 dead, 8 injured in ramp bridge tilt in C.China’s Hubei, allegedly due to serious overloading
Published: Dec 19, 2021 09:35 PM[/c]
"Four people died and eight others were injured in a [c=BF0000]highway bridge collapse in Ezhou, Central China's Hubei Province, [/c]where serious overloading was reportedly to be the cause, as the load of one of the trucks running on the bridge surpassed the weight limit nearly three times.

In response, experts said that the authorities should raise the standards for bridge safety due to worsening overloading problems.

The accident took place on Saturday afternoon when a 500-meter-long ramp overpass tilted to one side at nearly 90 degrees, crushing one car, which ran along the expressway under the bridge. Three trucks - belonging to the same transport team based in North China's Tianjin Municipality - moving in the same direction on the bridge fell off."
