Protecting America's character as a nation.

Trump is viewed as a threat to the preservation of America's character. This perception has divided the nation between those who hates Trump's character and those who don't.

Trump's character is unlike that of America's leaders, observed Romney. Trump's character is like that of a third grader who shoots his mouth off and calls a spade a spade. He can't lie; otherwise, we wouldn't be able to tell that he is lying all the time. He was stopped from spilling the beans on JFK's assassination, a lie kept alive by America's leaders whose consistent character mirrors that of the USA.

Romney's main point was that Trump's character is not consistent with that of leaders of the USA, the kind of character that make America the leader of the world.

Romney is convincing but does he believe what he is saying? Does he believe that Bill Clinton, the leader who had sexual daliances with an intern on the Resolute Desk and left semen on the couch in the Oval Office have character? Did Lyndon Johnson, the leader who ruthlessly bombed the impoverished third world country of South Vietnam killing helpless hundreds of thousands of poor peasants have character? What about the Elder Bush, head of the CIA?

Romney's opinion of Trump's character is an exoneration of the latter from the evil that possesses US Presidents.

@sree251 The only evil presidents were the last three Democrat ones. They did the most damage to this country.

@sree251 Romney is still pissed at Trump for not being corruptable.

@sree251 Amen, and they have destroyed the faith in the system trying to do it. The level of injustice makes dictators in banana republics cringe. Even Putin and Xi try to hide their corruption, but Biden Democrats commit crimes in plain view.

I believe this is the result of the need to feel special. It used to be, a valuable jewel or crown made someone special, but now anyone can afford the same luxury goods as the wealthy, so, luxury is no longer so important in status. The real sign of status it to brag to the world that you committed a crime, and, nothing happens to you. Conversely and perversely, it is also a sign when you can use the system to accuse and punish an opponent that has committed no crime.

Yes, we sent Chauvin to jail. I can't get over the injustice that possessed our entire legal system: judge, jury, state attorney general, and the police chief.

@sree251 Chauvin was innocent, no question about that, based on scientific proof, but not on a jury fearful that they would each have their homes burned down and their children butchered in the street.

Of course, he was innocent. And SCOTUS rejected Chauvin's appeal without comment.

Thank God, Kyle Rittenhouse didn't get nailed by American cowardice also.

@sree251 It's not the first act of cowardice by the highest court, and it won't be the last. Scientific evidence from the autopsy is clear. Chauvin is not guilty.
