@ChipmunkErnie Those fanatics acting "in the name of God" exist everywhere, on all sides. Until one realizes that some of those fanatics play for his/her own team, the problem perpetuates. The key word in your statement is "a few thousand". How do you stop "a few thousand" without oppressing/killing a few tens of thousand more, and exponentially increasing the number of those who hate you?

@trollslayer Yes, nuts on all sides, willing killers on all sides. How do you stop it? No idea -- no one had answered that question in human history. If we had an actual answer there would be no more wars. :(
