The experts: Unelected Joe SOTU speech was a disgrace

We've heard from the idiots and their idiotic sources. Now the FACTS:
(And FACTS don't care about your feelings.)
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/did-biden-pass-fail-former-presidential-speechwriters-grade-state-of-the-union-address

[c=BF0000]"This was the most partisan State of the Union I鈥檝e heard in my lifetime," said Bill McGurn, who served as chief speechwriter for then-President George W. Bush.

"No outreach to Republicans, and the clear message was this: the era of big government is back, with a vengeance," added McGurn, a Wall Street Journal editorial board member and columnist as well as a Fox News contributor.

Marc Thiessen, who also served as a speechwriter for Bush, argued Biden's speech was an "utter disgrace."

"Attacking his opponent directly in the first minutes of his speech is unprecedented and perhaps the most partisan start to a State of the Union address in modern memory," Theissen emphasized in a social media posting.

And Clark Judge, who served as a speechwriter for the late President Ronald Reagan, concurred that Biden's address "sounded angry. For its force, it depended upon him basically shouting and projecting outrage."

And he charged that the speech was "a laundry list of bad solutions for the problems he [Biden] caused."[/c]

The experts agree. That was the WORST SOTU speech of all time, given by the WORST PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME.

He should just resign. He's going to lose anyway.

@helenS Id rather have Trump. At least he will fix the economy again. Trump has settled down and is not talking as much. I hope he wins and keeps quiet. Let some one else talk for him.
Gas needs to go down. Lower fuel cost will bring down some of the cost of groceries and other goods. That will help bring down the 9% inflation we are seeing.
We need to close the boarder. We all know the CIA and the drug lords are working together. Tump stopped some of that but got blocked and threatened by the CIA and powers that be.
Trump is not perfect but will be better for what needs to be done.

@Confined Well I can't comment on the internal affairs of the United States of America because they aren't any of my (foreign) business. I simply don't know if Mr. Trump "fixed" the economy, or not. I think that many aspects of his foreign policy were quite reasonable, regarding Iran and Israel, for example, and his critique of European countries was reasonable too.
There's one thing which is unacceptable, in my opinion: he still claims he won the last elections, and that the elections were stolen by his political opponents. Against all evidence, against court decisions, against all statements by neutral international observers from many countries.
There were elections, and you will either win or lose, right? Tough luck, Mr. Trump, you lost. Period. Not being able to accept defeat is madness, on a personal level; and it is extremely dangerous on a political level. It's against the common denominator of each and any republic. He does not accept the rules of the game: he either wins, or it was a fraud.
No American republican (note the lower-case "r") should accept that. It's a deadly sin. Nobody should vote for Mr. Trump, because his claim of stolen elections attacks the foundations of the American republic.
And that matters to more than America alone, which is why I think I'm entitled to an opinion.

@helenS we can only hooe. I am a big trump supporter. I guarantee the fake news has made us look like terrorists
helenS36-40, F
@akindheart Here in Europe Trump is the big bogeyman, because Trump as a president means America will no longer pay for our safety... of course there's a big brouhaha everywhere now. "Please keep paying for us so we can enjoy spending our hard-earned money on big cars and long vacations!" 馃槒

@helenS Ever since Burisma became a household word here, the questions keep growing about how much of US foreign aid circles back to find the pockets of US politicians and their special friends. It was like Trump may have gotten too close to that third rail for the comfort of some. Does anyone really think it's just Senator Bob Menendez that's taking kickbacks from a foreign government?
LeopoldBloomM
@Confined You've got to be kidding. Trump destroyed the economy and Biden brought it back. Four years ago, we had near-record unemployment and the stock market was in the toilet. Today it's just the opposite. If you want a strong economy, you want four more years of Biden.

Republicans have a pattern of destroying the economy. Bush did the same thing in 2008 and Obama brought it back. It's like you people never learn.
