Journalists have a huge influence on what America thinks. Some still trust them. Media monopolies need to be broken up, and Journalists, before they can work, should have to pass a national board examination on journalist ethics and the law in order to get a license (for a fee) to practice their profession. Continuing education requirements should be mandated and state boards of Journalism created to deal with complaints about the conduct of the journalists in their jurisdiction.
