Gen. Mariusz Dąbrowski couldn’t contain his anger anymore.
“Ten głupek ssący penisa Putina zniszczy cały świat!”
The senior officers of the Polish military sitting around the large conference table nodded in agreement.
“We owe the Americans nothing!” scoffed Gen. Jan Skórzewski.
“I just don’t see how they could have elected that swine again!” said Adm. Leszek Unrug, pounding his fist on the table as he referred to U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Did they not learn anything from 2016?”
Another officer asked, “But isn’t their Congress beginning proceedings to impeach the kretyn over pulling out of NATO without their approval?”
Dąbrowski sat back as he listened for the next ten minutes, the insults directed at the American president growing more intense and vile with each minute. Others chimed in to criticize the French for following America’s lead and announcing they would withdrawal from NATO and remain neutral in the conflict that had erupted in Eastern Europe.
Finally, Dąbrowski stood up and motioned for silence, reading a note handed to him by a junior aide.
“At least the British have finally come to their senses,” he said. “They are sending their Vanguard nuclear ballistic missile submarines to sea and vowing a retaliatory strike against Moscow if London is hit.”
Then he bowed his head, crumpling the paper and sighed.
“We all know what a Russian invasion will bring,” Dąbrowski said. “There isn’t a city left in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania that isn’t in ruins right now. And we’ve seen what happened to Ukraine once the aid from the Americans stopped."
"I know each of you sitting there would gladly sacrifice your life in the coming days for our homeland," Dąbrowski continued. "But the fact of the matter is, gentlemen, we are alone again. Just as we were 86 years ago.”
“Only this time, with God’s help, things will be different,” he vowed.
Sounds filled the room with audible gasps from the other officers.
Dąbrowski continued, “Yes, gentlemen. Parliament met behind closed doors last night and gave its approval.”
“'Operation Soaring Eagle' is a go,” he said to a rousing cheer.
“Locator chips have already been sent for us to home in on. All naval vessels, aircraft, artillery, munitions, fuel and other equipment has been tagged for transportation. All military personnel will be briefed within the next three hours.”
“Hope's Gateway” in Kraków, near Wawel Castle, is already prepped and fully powered. At midnight, in six hours, we will be in position.”
“In less than five hours after that, those butchering Huns will get the shock of their lives. Generals Skórzewski and Krajowski will fly to London in a Lockheed C-130E Hercules to brief Chamberlain and, later, Daladier on the situation.”
