She's literally still in the campaign to pick up the nomination once sack-o-shit traitor trump is thrown in prison for the rest of his useless life.

@Vin53 Best response!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Vin53 I'm afraid that is a "if an asteroid hits the earth" scenario unfortrunately.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@JimboSaturn I don’t think it’s unrealistic that Trump could go to prison. What’s unrealistic is that that would make a big difference politically. He would lose some supporters if he was convicted but not a lot. Definitely not enough to cost him the nomination.

@Theyitis

I don't know if the GOP would continue him as the nominee if he's a convicted felon.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@Vin53 Why wouldn’t they? By then he will have secured a vast majority of the delegates up for grabs, and he would still be popular with the rank and file. Would the GOP establishment go against their own rules that they made and the will of the vast majority of their voters to pick someone else?
Vin53 · M
@Theyitis A convicted felon out on appeal pending sentencing could never, ever,ever win the general and the GOP would have to choose between losing all of congress along with the WH or cutting trump loose. Plus, it would be trump's only hope for a pardon.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@Vin53 I disagree, I don’t think Trump would lose many supporters if convicted, he would certainly still be competitive. Then if elected he would simply pardon himself and the Supreme Court wouldn’t dare tell him he couldn’t do it. That’s how crazy our politics are now.

@Theyitis

Its not just his rabid base, he needs independents to have a chance in this election. Sane people are not going to vote for him.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@Vin53 Sane people already know he should be in prison. Getting a conviction won’t change a lot of independents’ minds.

@Theyitis

Well in any case, I'm glad to be having the debate. 😆
