What IF Donald Trump tries to control the US Military?

I didn't like this interview because it scares me! It's one thing to say that the POTUS has the total allegience of the Military because he's their Commander in Chief..... but what happens (if as laid out in this interview), he insists on breaking the law?

Didn't he try that when he was President and he got really upset when a general wouldn't follow his orders?
black4white · 56-60, M
@ChipmunkErnie his minions dont remember that and will say its "fake news"

I didn't know any of this. Trump gave the summer riots to Mileys to stop or ignore?

Thanks for posting this. Highly relevant. 👍
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@SteelHands Trump reportedly wanted the National Guard to protect the rioters on January 6.

@ChipmunkErnie the op was not referring to jan 6 and as always people are still looking for disagreements instead of a foundation of what we do agree about.

The entire 4 years between 2016-20 was nonstop attemps to interfere with the Trump presidency by the lead Democrats. That was wrong. From the pre election spying and falsely manufactured Russia / Steele dossier to the comparably absurd Biden interference with the Ukranian AG firing vs Trumps congrats phone call, it was enough to make anyone doubt that the press has any honesty.

Most of that is obvious. At least to anyone listening to most recent hearings. I hope we can agree on some of this.

@SteelHands The one things we all need to agree on is that Trump is a life long criminal and always trying to find a way to get over on the American people one way or another

From the 1970s until he was elected president in 2016, Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in over 4,000 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts, including battles with casino patrons, million-dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation lawsuits, and over 100 business tax disputes

NOW i am not saying all of these are bad..who knows but good lord....This just says the man is a life time criminal.

But i am sure all his minions are going to say its all business related...and if so... it makes perfect sense as to why he is having the books thrown at him now. All he knows is how to be illegal

@black4white just a couple points.

Trump is not dirtier than the politicians.

Fact is he's less dirty than the politicians.

Because he's not a lifelong politician.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@SteelHands No, he's a lifelong crook and liar who moved into politics and became a egomaniacal wannabe dictator.
black4white · 56-60, M
@SteelHands I hear what you are saying but the fact is...the guy is a sex predator...he recruited girls for J. Epstein, he is spineless or in favor of neo-nazi type of people, My point to that ..He would NEVER answer the question ... Do you dis-like Neo-Nazi's and he would always go around the question and never answer it yes or no.... pretty simple question and pretty simple answer yet he NEVER answered.(show me differently please)

From the 1970s until he was elected president in 2016, Donald Trump and his businesses were involved in over 4,000 legal cases in U.S. federal and state courts, including battles with casino patrons, million-dollar real estate lawsuits, personal defamation lawsuits, and over 100 business tax disputes.

That is just as dirty as AL Capone or worse... the biggest diff is he doesnt use guns/violence to get back at people...he just tries to destroy them financially and other means.

@SteelHands I appreciate the video...but ya know that man lies so much its hard to even believe anything he says... i will take it upon myself to KNOW he is against it....but is he REALLY... lol

I still believe what his actions say and not the words out of his mouth...

Also this piece plays big with me as well

https://www.npr.org/sections/president-biden-takes-office/2021/02/05/963837953/biden-pledged-historic-cabinet-diversity-heres-how-his-nominees-stack-up

His cabinet does not support America's diversity and he is all about the white male.... which sucks

@black4white Equal opportunity is not equity of results.

Equal positions and pay rates at the disadvantage of measurable achievement and reduced opportunities for better qualified people is the definition of failure.

A highly qualified female or person of a certain race loses their right to have pride in rising above others because they got there not by merit, but because of being born a certain race or sex.

It makes any organization that practices quotas based on race inferior to one that does not.

You're bragging about prejudice that results in failure, not inclusion that results in greater success.
