What IF Donald Trump tries to control the US Military?

I didn't like this interview because it scares me! It's one thing to say that the POTUS has the total allegience of the Military because he's their Commander in Chief..... but what happens (if as laid out in this interview), he insists on breaking the law?

No way would Trump turn on his country. He's the best President that America's has ever had and he will always love and care for us as a nation.

So you're convinced that the 2020 was stolen from trump even though there's not an iota or shred of proof of such. Let me ask you something, is there anything that trump could say that you wouldn't believe or just have faith that no matter what there's a reason why he says lies so thats good enough for you?
OntheroadM
@Kygirl come on, share whatever you're smokin' with us.
SteelHands61-69, M
@Vin53 You can say there's no proof only because the examination of claims was barricaded by politically or possibly other reasons de motivated judges.

The verbal slight of hand being made about "proof" is made by legalspeak because of evidentiary suppression.
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@SteelHands And they say Americans dont do irony!!!馃樂
SteelHands61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman I never heard that one but I'll take it. Add it to

"Mostly peaceful summer protests" "steal" me a "dossier" and told that guy to fire the Ukrainian AG investigating my oil executive son , or no US aid for him.

And the chair of the Banking oversight Speaker that made bank on stock trades after the legislation she blocked.

And etc.
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@SteelHands Yup. Happy to admit at least some of that happened. And I expect the majority of congress and the senate have made money on insider trading and taken "incentives" to make favorable decisions. Thats what happens when you let money into politics to buy influence and the US sytem is corrupt from top to bottom. But lets get real here. People on the right are only screaming "corruption" now because Trump and his family have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar and up peoples skirts and its landed them in court. No way to claim he is innocent, so make the other guy look as bad. Thats the game here.馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman Just don't go thinking that I like having multiBillionaires that because of Reagans tax restructuring and Clinton's finance law anandonments that keep sucking the wealth out of the common man's western pockets, turned a couple software companys into monsters, an information vortex into a monopoly, a swiped internet hangout for naive college kids into a digital big brother, or a book exchange site into a planetary wide megastore, or any of the other umpteen eleven figure ceasars they've created.

I'm not your enemy. I don't believe in having a uniparty but you need to accept that such monsters exist.
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@SteelHands I agree. I know there be monsters out there. Rupert Murdoch used to be one of ours.. As long as people are people there will always be those who will want more and work out a way to take it..馃樂
SteelHands61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman used to be one of ours is a cryptic way of saying that score card dom hammered him a new ass.

Probably. Makes no sense to cry over spilt milk tho. Even Oreilly followers are gonna disagree with that analysis.

They probably said things about gutenberg as well once the pope mentioned that first book's original copyright date.
JollyRoger70-79, M
@Kygirl Sorry,.... I have to disagree: Trump seems like he's a 'great thing' for America because he lowers taxes on businesses so they can make more money so they can hire more people at low wages and make more profit. If you buy into the idea that he is doing wonderful things for you just because you see people being employed (even at low wages) then he's succeeded in making himself (as a corporate leader) richer at your expense.
Donald Trump is simply a self-aggrandising narcissist who cares for nobody other than himself. Have you ever heard him say pass a sincere compliment on anyone? No: All he says is that 'He's a great guy' after someone tries to buy Trump's favor for himself.... then when the guy crosses back over the line because Trump pushes him too hard, the guy is suddenly a 'Loser'..... Look back and see how many times Trump has done that and then come on here again and say, "he will always love us as a nation.'
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@JollyRoger Trumps idea of lower taxes for the rich and business is based on the long discredited theory of trickle down economics. In reality they rich dont spend their money of local goods and services. They buy more properties to list with air BnB and push the cost of rentals and homes up. They participate in share buy backs or buy the occasional porsche or Ferrari, which put nothing back into the local economy..If you want to stimulate local business you give extra to the poor, they spend it to live.馃樂
JollyRoger70-79, M
@whowasthatmaskedman Ah! You are correct! But: You can see how his simplistic rhetoric affects the people who need a job - any job! He preys on their lack of understanding and his simplistic (uneducated style of speaking), using expletives and 'down-talk' creates the impression to them that he is speaking TO THEM, when in reality he is simply using them. It would seem that the 'average American' has a lower level of comprehension than one would hope??
ilikeitlikethat2361-69, M
@Kygirl the subsequent comments are correct, your statement is almost right on, just add criminal in front of president and substitute USES, in place of loves and cares, and you would have hit the nail on the head that time
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@JollyRoger Yes. I get that it sounds insulting. But lets try this comparison.. When you get on board an aircraft and it takes off, dont you want those people up at the pointy end being the smartest people in the room when it comes to flying a plane?? You do you want to feel comfortable that they understand your problems??馃樂
SteelHands61-69, M
@JollyRoger I don't recall when 'Average Americans' asked you to question their comprehensional competence.

Pretty sure you don't, either.

Although a few of them were telling me that ignorant people tend to generalize and put people in large groups beneath them.
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@SteelHands You mean with labels like "illegals" or "elites"馃樂
SteelHands61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman You're talking about 80 million people.

A M A Z I N G
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@SteelHands I am actually talking about 320 Million at one level. While I am talking about maybe 70 million at another. I suppose you think its fine for 70 million who produce maybe a quarter of the GDP to tell the rest how to live?? Of course you do..馃樂
JollyRoger70-79, M
@whowasthatmaskedman I think (and I'm already prepared for your knee-jerk response) that American society is not really a 'society'; that instead the American people are individualistic people who think selfishly (Yes, your foreign policies are selfish too) and won't spend a penny to help someone who's in financial trouble unless there's a 'return' to be gained.
I know that you see immigrants coming in and taking jobs while others are lying about doing nothing to better their lives. However, those 'lay-abouts' have just given up on trying to fit into 'society' - why? Because they've been struck down at every attempt... And when someone puts their thumb on you everytime you try to rise up, even the pressure of a thumb on your back is defeating. Why do those immigrants come in and take those 'menial jobs' that nobody in your society wants? Because they are better than what they had in their home countries! They know what they need to do to survive - yet American folk, like you, begrudge them the scraps they are trying to gather together.
I know it's against the American Dream and the philosophy that everyone must make their own bed, but look at other countries where (Warning: American swear-word coming:) benevolent socialism (notice the small 's'?) helps equates social status. Countries like Sweden, Canada, Iceland. I live in Canada and I earn my keep...but it doesn't hurt me one bit if I hand over an extra 5% of my income to social causes that help keep poorer kids in school and out of gangs or help an abandoned mother to put food on her kids' table after 14 hours of working 2 or 3 jobs at minimum wage - or even if she can't work at all!!
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@JollyRoger I agree with every word you just said. But I might add that the "individuals " are formed into regional semi tribal groups for support, such as the bible belters and the east coasters and west coasters.馃樂
JollyRoger70-79, M
@whowasthatmaskedman Sorry, Masked man.... I wasn't aiming that previous response in your direction.
On your latest observation- I notice that about America, that there are 'regions' of belief and political cohesion..... sort of like neighbourhood gangs - kids running together to defend a particular turf. We do have that in Canada too, but it isn't as pronounced.

@SteelHands Steely.... I give my commentary as I see it fits. Whether you took offense at it just indicates to me that the shoe might fit you.
