What IF Donald Trump tries to control the US Military?

I didn't like this interview because it scares me! It's one thing to say that the POTUS has the total allegience of the Military because he's their Commander in Chief..... but what happens (if as laid out in this interview), he insists on breaking the law?

Look you all, read what Officers and enlisted must swear when joining the military, their oaths and the Uniform Code of Military Justice prevent them from following an unlawful order or command.... even if given by the President.

Officer:
I (state your full name), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of Second Lieutenant, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.

Enlisted:
I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

@Ontheroad can you pull up the oath of office for the president and vice president? Perhaps the one for Congress and Senate and the supreme court. Right now there is a problem every where in this government.

@Ontheroad As someone who has Sworn both of those Oaths as an Enlisted and later as an Officer, I'm quite certain that our serving Men and Women know what they Swore to and what an "Unlawful" command is. tRump can always dream but I think the majority of our Service Men and Women are smart enough to know the difference between "Lawful" and "Unlawful" commands...

@spjennifer Absolutely they do, I did.
