Nikki Haley, Possibly the next POTUS?

Pro-abortion (actually voted in her state for no coverage due to incest or rape), has talked about invading Mexico, opposed to red flag laws to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people, supports more oil drilling, doesn't support environmental initiatives and on and on. She's a twisted conservative who wants to move the country back to 1950. I don't know where you live, and I know that shit flies in some places, but America is a big country. Conservatives aren't America.

@Ynotisay Of course Biden would be a better president, but he lost a lot of support by funding genocide. Right now there are a lot of normies who will only vote for Biden if Trump gets the nomination, whereas if Haley does, then they want vote at all. This gives Haley a huge advantage, since the pro-genocide crowd will vote Republican no matter what.

@BohemianBoo I don't know. Genocide is a big word. Not sure if too many are really pro-genocide. From the U,S. side it's an extremely complicated situation with real world ramifications outside of Israel and Palestine. If you have an issue with Israel that's valid. I have issues with them too. But the U.S. isn't Israel. Which is why the U.s. is pumping a lot of money for humanitarian aid in Gaza.

@Ynotisay The Right is definitely pro-genocide.
As long as America is funding Israel, our government is partly responsible for the genocide. The fact that we're also sending aid means nothing, especially since our government probably knows that Israel intercepts the aid. Remember, Israel controls all goods that go into Gaza.

@Ynotisay Yes, I realize there are other factors involved. But the point is still that by choosing to help carry out a genocide, Biden has lost a lot of support. And that's why I think if Nikki Haley got the nomination, she'd win.

They'll side with anti-Abortion, Christian Nationalism, book banning, anti gay/trans and all the rest that conservatives bring to the table? They'll ignore a wildly successful administration that has helped turn this country around from the abyss? Come on now.

No, but I think this one issue is so important, that it will cause people to just not want to vote. We are talking about mass murder and ethnic cleansing here.
Personally, I think people who don't grow up and vote for Biden are disgusting. It's basically enabling fascism at this point. But at the same time, I get why it's going to be hard to make that move. Especially for Palestinian-Americans who still have family in Gaza.
